Emotone
Emotone is based on Robert Plutchik’s psychoevolutionary theory of emotion. Each emotion is matched with a web-safe color to ensure accurate reproduction of colors and emotions. Emotions can be classified into eight primary categories with varying degrees from mild to extreme. Mixed emotions are derived from primary emotions as represented by color gradients. Emotions are further defined in terms of polar opposites in the emotone flower. All other emotions can be derived from these forty emotions.
